Abstract:
Provided is a rail bond achieving high durability and reliability against vibrations from traveling trains. This rail bond (1) is provided with a conductor (2) for electrically connecting contiguous separate rails to one another, terminals (3) which electrically connect to the conductor (2) and are to be welded onto lateral sides of the rails, and terminations (4) whereby the conductors (2) are connected to the terminals (3). Each terminal (3) has a weld area (5) to be welded onto a lateral side of a rail, and, in a substantially orthogonal direction to the lateral side of that rail, the weld area (5), the terminal (3), termination (4), and conductor (2) all have a predetermined relationship in regards to at least one of the following: position, reciprocal shapes, layering relationship, and layered structure.
