Abstract:
The present invention has a predetermined composition, and has a hardness distribution in a region from a rail head surface to a depth of 16.0 mm, in which a position having a hardness higher than V1 that is a minimum hardness value in a first internal region is formed in a second internal region, the hardness of the rail head surface is HBW400 to HBW520, and the average hardness in a region from the rail head surface to the depth of 16.0 mm is HBW350 or more.
