Abstract:
A rail (10) for use in a straddling rail transit system (1) comprises: a turning portion (111) for guiding the turning of a rail vehicle (20) of the straddling rail transit system (1); and a vehicle travelling portion (112) for guiding the travelling of the rail vehicle (20) of the straddling rail transit system, the vehicle travelling portion (112) connected on the turning portion (111) and constructed with a first concave portion to form an escape passage (11). The rail for use in the straddling rail transit system is advantageous in easy evacuation of passengers in case of emergency, low costs, low space usage, low rail loading, high stability, wide escape passage, and convenient service and maintenance during operation.
