Abstract:
Provided is a rail vehicle which has a guide device and is capable of achieving the light weight of the guide device and contributing to improvement in ride comfort. This rail vehicle has a guide device (24) which guides the traveling of a bogie (21) on a traveling track (2) such that guide wheels (25) contact guide rails (3) installed on both sides of the traveling track (2) and roll in the vehicle width direction (X) perpendicular to the traveling direction (Y). The guide device (24) has: an arm (29) which has a central portion fixed to a stationary member (28) and both sides in the vehicle width direction (X) and both end portions that can be elastically deformed in the extending direction of the guide rails (3); and the guide wheels (25) mounted on the arm (29) at both ends of the arm (29) in the vehicle width direction (X), wherein the center (O1) of each of the guide wheels (25) is displaced from a center line (CL) extending in the vehicle width direction (X) of the arm (29).
