Abstract:

In order to properly control rail-to-ground voltage in a DC feeding system, this rail vehicle that operates on electric power supplied from power-supply equipment is provided with a power control system that captures, as one of the parameters, information on a rail-to-ground voltage at a target location and, on the basis of said information, controls the electric power. The rail vehicle is further provided with: a drive apparatus which is supplied with the electric power having been controlled by the power control system; and/or an auxiliary machine which is supplied with the electric power having been controlled by the power control system.
