Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2012/098761
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In this rail vehicle system, the objective is to reliably detect a mark positioned upon a rail. The rail vehicle system is provided with a rail (100) which is laid upon a ceiling or a ceiling vicinity, and a vehicle (200) which travels along the rail. The vehicle has a travel portion (210) for traveling upon a travel surface portion of the rail, a vehicle main body portion (220) which is suspended from the travel portion using a gap of the rail, detection means (610) which is provided upon either the travel portion or the vehicle main body portion, and reflection means (620) which is provided upon the other of either the travel portion or the vehicle main body portion and reflects light emitted from the detection means back to the detection means. The rail has a mark unit (630). The mark unit (630) protrudes from the travel surface portion to the gap side at a predetermined position of the travel surface portion so as to be capable of blocking the optical path between the detection means and the reflection means.
