Abstract:
The invention relates to a rail vehicle (1) with a carriage frame (3) supported on rail-mounted travel units (2) and a carriage body (4) with at least one driver's cabin (7). A drive unit comprises an electric motor (13) powered by an electric energy accumulator (12). According to the invention, the energy accumulator (12) controls the temperature by means of a liquid dielectric (23) and that the carriage body (4) comprises a compartment (8) that is separate from the driver's cabin (7), in which the electric energy accumulator (12) is arranged inside at least one fire protection cabinet (14) having a dielectric tank (15) placed above.
