Abstract:
A railway vehicle has a double-skin structure comprising a vehicle outer face plate, a vehicle inner face plate, a connecting plate, and a cavity enclosed thereby. The vehicle inner face plate of this double-skin structure is provided with a sound absorbing material, and is further covered with an interior panel. A hole is formed in the double-skin structure on the vehicle inner plate face side in an area where t ≤ 3L, where t is the thickness of a gap between the vehicle inner face plate of the double-skin structure and the interior panel, and L is the construction thickness of the double-skin structure. This makes it possible to improve sound insulation in the most effective area for reducing vehicle interior noise, without narrowing the passenger space.
