Abstract:
Considering that the number of passengers in an individual cabin and the number of passengers in a standard passenger cabin often differs greatly, causing variations in the cabin temperature, a railroad car 10 is provided in which it is possible to control the individual cabin temperature and the passenger cabin temperature with a simple configuration without increasing manufacturing hours and without requiring a complex control, even when a common air conditioning device is used. The railroad car 10 comprises an individual cabin 12, a passenger cabin 11, an air conditioning device 20, and a main duct 30 that supplies conditioned air conditioned by the air conditioner 20 to the passenger cabin 11, the railroad car 10 having, in order to supply the conditioned air, a branch duct 40 that connects the main duct 30 and the individual cabin 12, the branch duct 40 being provided with an introduction air opening 42 that introduces the air from the passenger cabin 11 into the branch duct 40 in accordance with the difference between the pressure inside the passenger cabin 11 and the pressure inside the connected branch duct 40 or the individual cabin 12.
