Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to appropriately distribute regenerative electric power generated in a power-feeding zone on which a regenerative vehicle is travelling to two adjacent power-feeding zones when motoring vehicles are travelling thereon so that the regenerative electric power is effectively utilized. To this end, the railroad power-feeding system pertaining to the present invention is characterized in that the system is provided with a control device for controlling transfer of electric power flowing through three or more power-feeding zones, and in that the control device controls an electric power transfer device for transferring regenerative electric power from a predetermined power-feeding zone to other power-feeding zones on the basis of the regenerative electric power obtained from the vehicle traveling in the power-feeding zone and motoring electric power consumed by the vehicle traveling in the power-feeding zone.
