Abstract:
A railroad-vehicle body (1) provided with a roof structure (6), a side structure (3), and a pole plate (4). The pole plate (4) contains an outer plate (11), an inner plate (12) that is positioned to the vehicle interior side of the outer plate (11) such that there is a gap therebetween, and a plurality of linking rib plates (13) that are linked to the outer plate (11) and the inner plate (12) and, together with the outer plate (11) and the inner plate (12), form a plurality of triangles. The outer plate (11) and inner plate (12) each include a plurality of sections (11a, 11b, 11c, 12a) that connect the apexes of the triangles together. In the outer plate (11) and/or the inner plate (12), the plurality of the sections contain a plurality of flat-plate sections (11a, 12a), and in said plates/plate, two or more adjoining flat-plate sections (11a, 12a) are positioned in a straight line.
