Abstract:
Disclosed is a platform door device which makes it possible to reduce the length of time for replacement work when a panel-shaped portion of the door is damaged. The platform door device is equipped with a door and a driving mechanism which moves the door back and forth causing the gate on the platform to open and close; the driving mechanism possesses a motor, a rotating body which is rotated by the motor, and a driven body which is driven through the rotation of the rotating body, causing the door to move; and the door has a panel-shaped main body and a base which is detachably coupled with the main body and which can be fitted to the driven body.
