Abstract:
A railway vehicle in which an air conditioner (5) can be installed on a rooftop thereof is provided with: a roof structure (1) having an open part (10); a low roof main body (20) having a recessed part (3) provided in the open part (10) and recessed as viewed in cross-section, the air conditioner (5) being mountable in the recessed part (3); and a low roof main body edge part (22) formed continuously from the low roof main body (20) and joined to the roof structure (1), the low roof main body (20) and the low roof main body edge part (22) being made of plastic.
