Abstract:

[Problem] To provide a railway vehicle comprising a connection duct configured so that duct connection work in only one direction enables the air-tightness of a duct connection section to be easily maintained while the dimensional tolerance of the duct connection section is absorbed. [Solution] A railway vehicle provided with a connection duct comprises: an air conditioning device mounted on the roof structure of the railway vehicle; a cooking facility module having various kinds of cooking devices and provided within the interior of the railway vehicle, the interior being located below the air conditioning device; and a connection duct for connecting to each other an opening provided in the portion of the roof structure, which is located directly below the air conditioning device, and a module duct provided at the upper end of the cooking facility module. The connection duct is characterized by comprising an upper duct and a lower duct, which are telescopically connected to each other so that the upper duct and the lower duct can slide in the height direction.
