Abstract:
A rain-water and snow-water collection and irrigation method involves making connection together of containers (3), water conducting pipes (2, 7) and water-collectors, which are made of waste containers in daily life. The water-collectors are set outdoors to collect rain-water or snow-water. When rain-water or snow-water flows into the water-collectors, water then flows into the containers through the water conducting pipes, so rain-water or snow-water is stored. Irrigation of water is implemented through the water conducting pipe on the container located in low potential energy location. The apparatus used in the method includes water collectors, water conducting pipes and containers. The water-collectors are connected with the containers by the water conducting pipes, the containers are connected with each other, and the container located in low potential energy location is connected with a drainage tube. The method is flexible and easy-to-use. The apparatus with simple structure is low-cost and efficient. Moreover, the method is conductive to environmental protection and is suitable for a wide range of applications.
