Abstract:
To improve the raindrop detecting sensitivity and enlarge the detection region, a wave transmission element (12) and a wave reception element (14) are arranged so that an elastic wave from the wave transmission element (12) does not repeat reflection and not reach the wave reception element (14) but reaches directly the wave reception element (14) through a windshield (11).
