Abstract:
A rainfall measurement device comprises: a piezoelectric sensor; a piezoelectric amplifier; a frequency-voltage converter; a voltage-frequency converter; a counter; and a central processing unit. The piezoelectric sensor generates first to n-th piezoelectric transforming signals on the basis of the pressure of raindrops. The piezoelectric amplifier generates impulse signals by amplifying the first to the n-th piezoelectric transforming signals. The frequency-voltage converter generates measuring voltage signals on the basis of the impulse signals. The voltage-frequency converter generates measuring frequency signals on the basis of the measuring voltage signals. The counter generates measurement data by counting the measuring frequency signals during a predetermined time. The central processing unit generates rainfall data on the basis of the measurement data. The rainfall measurement device is manufactured by a simple structure and can accurately measure the amount of rainfall.
