Abstract:
The present invention relates to a rainwater collection system and, specifically, to a rainwater collection system for collecting and using rainwater that falls into a rainwater collector or onto the roof of a building, the system further facilitating the separating out of foreign material, smoothly operating without a discharge failure when a small quantity of rainwater is discharged, accurately performing automatic opening of a float valve when the rain stops, and quickly and simply cleaning a rainwater discharge means when the rainwater discharge means is closed. The present invention relates to the rainwater collection system comprising: an initial rainwater treatment tank (10) for receiving, through a rainwater inflow pipe (12), the rainwater collected by a rainwater collection means; and a storage tank (40) for receiving, through a discharge conduit (29), clean rainwater from which the foreign material has been separated out in the initial rainwater treatment tank (10), wherein the initial rainwater treatment tank (10) has the float valve (14), provided at the inner bottom of a treatment tank body (11), for discharging the rainwater containing the foreign material, and has a rainwater discharge means (17, 37) provided at a location separate from the float valve (14) so as to discharge a small quantity of rainwater to the outside, a filtering chamber (22) divided by a partition (23) formed on one side of the upper portion of the treatment tank body (11), and a rainwater guide plate (27), having an upper end connected to the partition (23), provided on the side wall portion below the filtering chamber (22) of the treatment tank body (11) so that a predetermined gap is maintained therebetween, and thus a rainwater dispersing path (28) that communicates with the lower side of the filtering chamber (22) is formed between the side wall and the rainwater guide plate (27).
