Abstract:
Rammer is made by prismatic shaft (1) having a pivot in one side (2). Parts (3) have a circular sector section; they are assembled on the large faces of the prism to form a free space (4) between them. Sliding blades (5) are inserted in this space. Some stops (6) limit the stroke. Pistons (7) are located on small faces of the prism and are fed with compressed fluid. They continuously push out the blades. Rammer, eccentrically located inside the perforated rotary cage, rotates equidirectionally and same peripheral speed with cage. Blades, during the rotation, touch the cage, so they are pushed back into their slots by the cage. Product is captured between two blades, it's transported on the side of the rotary cage, so that it can decrease its volume and produce an efficient press. Therefore, juice goes out from the perforated rotary cage.

Claims
1. Rammer characterized by a prismatic central shaft having polygonal section (part 1 fig. l).
2. Rammer, as claim 1, having some circular sectors assembled on his prismatic faces.
3. Rammer, as claim 1 and 2, having a pivot on one or both side (part 2 fig. l).
4. Circular sectors are constructed and assembled on the prismatic faces of the shaft in a way to leave a free space between them (part 3 fig. 1).
5. Blades, which may glide in the free space between two circular sectors (part 5 fig. 1).
6. Pistons are constructed and assembled on the prismatic faces of the shaft in a way to push out the blades (part 6 fig. l).
7. Rammer characterized by internal channel to convey the fluid in pressure to the pistons (part 7 fig. l).

My invention is a new type of rammer for a continuous press rotary cage in use in the enological field and in agricultural field in general.

It is used to press grapes or other types of agricultural products from which we want to extract juice.

Background of Art.

The prior art, Italian utility model patent n° 002300890-1999-provide a rotating rammer inside a wine press rotary cage. This rammer, such is, is able to do only a lamination on the machined products, like a mulling. On the other side, pressing consists in a volume reduction to allow the expulsion of the juice.

Disclosure of invention In accordance with the present invention, I provide a rammer, rotating in a wine press rotary cage, able to reduce the volume of the machined products, allowing the juice to be expelled.

This rammer captures the processed product in a confined space, and then it starts to reduce the product volume until the juice is expelled from it.

Modes for carrying out the invention The construction of the rammer may carry out from a common mechanical tooling.

It doesn't need particular working.
