Abstract:

Provided are a random access method and device. User equipment receives a RAR message sent by a network device, wherein the RAR message comprises or indicates a BWP identifier; and the user equipment performs transmission on a first BWP corresponding to the BWP identifier. Thus, the user equipment can accomplish a random access process according to the BWP identifier indicated by the network device; on the BWP corresponding to the BWP identifier, which is consistent with on a BWP indicated by an UL grant sent by the network device, uplink data transmission can be performed effectively by utilizing the UL grant in the RAR message.
