Abstract:
Provided are a random access method, user equipment and a network device. The method at a user equipment side comprises: a user equipment selecting a random access preamble from a random access preamble set, and selecting a random access channel resource from a random access channel resource set; the user equipment sending the random access preamble by means of the random access channel resource; and the user equipment receiving a random access response message over a first downlink bandwidth part, wherein at least one of the random access preamble set or one of the random access channel resource set corresponds to the first downlink bandwidth part; and the random access channel resource comprises at least one of a time-domain resource of a random access channel or a frequency-domain resource of the random access channel. The method enables the network device to send, according to the correlation, a random access response merely over a downlink bandwidth part corresponding to a random access configuration, thereby avoiding wasting downlink resources.
