Abstract:
The present application provides a random access resource configuration method and a communication device. The method comprises: a terminal device receiving index indication information, the index indication information being used to indicate a first configuration index; according to the first configuration index, the terminal device determining first configuration information corresponding to the first configuration index, the first configuration information being used to indicate a time domain resource of a first group of random access preamble occasions (ROs) or a time domain resource of a second group of ROs, the time domain resource of the first group of ROs and the time domain resource of the second group of ROs being located in a first time unit in a random access configuration period, and the time domain resource of the first group of ROs or the time domain resource of the second group of ROs being determined according to a time domain offset of the control channel resource set and/or an index of the first time unit; the terminal device determining the time domain resource of a group of ROs, the time domain resource of the group of ROs being the time domain resource of the first group of ROs or the time domain resource of the second group of ROs. The embodiments of the present application can improve the random access efficiency of a terminal device.
