Abstract:
Disclosed are a random access and response method, a terminal device and a network device. The random access method comprises: sending, to a network device, at least one random access preamble of a plurality of random access resources associated with a downlink/uplink signal or a downlink/uplink signal group, with the random access resource corresponding to a random access radio network temporary identity; and receiving a random access response from the network device, with the random access response being a response for the at least one random access preamble. Also disclosed are a corresponding random access response method, a terminal device and a network device. By means of the technical solution of the present application, by making a joint response for one or more random access preambles of a plurality of random access resources associated with a downlink/uplink signal or a downlink/uplink signal group, communication resources are saved on, and the efficiency of a random access process is improved.
