Abstract:
Provided are a random number calculation device and the like capable of calculating a high precision random number using a memory capacity selected irrespective of the precision of the random number. A random number calculation device 101 comprises: a random number calculation unit 102 which calculates a first random number on the basis of a given number; and an identification unit 103 which, when given numerical value ranges that are included in target numerical value ranges, and that each include one or more second random numbers, have been determined with a desired degree of precision, identifies a numerical value range corresponding to the first random number on the basis of frequency information indicating an cumulative frequency relating to frequencies associated with the determined numerical value ranges, wherein the total number of second random numbers is equal to said given number.
