Abstract:
A random number generation method and device utilized in a computer system. In one embodiment, the random number generation method comprises: upon receiving a first request, sorting random numbers to be provided into a plurality of subsets, wherein when a subset contains two random numbers, a sum of the two random numbers is twice of an average number, and a quotient of the two random numbers is a preconfigured threshold value; and then sequentially determining that each of the subsets contains one or two random numbers to obtain a specified number of random numbers. As a result, the embodiment achieves the goal of controlling random number generation.
