Abstract:
A range determination device 100 comprises a one-dimensional means 101 that creates multiple kinds of one-dimensional data from a plurality of pieces of multidimensional data by using a plurality of space filling curves, a query data placement means 102 that places query data for each of the plurality of space filling curves where the one-dimensional data is placed, a candidate area determination means 103 that determines a nearby range of the query data for each of the plurality of space filling curves and determines, as candidate areas, areas on each of a plurality of multidimensional planes corresponding to the nearby range, and a search range determination means 104 that determines, as a search area, the area including a minimum number of pieces of data among the plurality of candidate area.
