Abstract:
A range hood having a streamlining function, comprising: a fume capture hood, a flue (1), and a blower (2). The fume capture hood comprises a fume capture hood inner layer (10) and a fume capture hood outer layer (6), a gap being provided between the middle portion of the two layers to form a flow-guidance air channel (3); the flow-guidance air channel (3) is partitioned uniformly by flow-guidance baffles (4); the bottom portions of the two layers are provided with gaps forming vertical downward-oriented air inlets (5); the fume capture hood inner layer (10) is provided with uniformly distributed siphoning holes (7); a flow-guidance cone (9) is provided between an air outlet at the top portion of the fume capture hood and the blower (2). The fume capture hood inner layer (10) is designed as an inner wall having siphoning holes (7) and, by means of siphoning principles, the blower (2) is able to use said holes (7) to form a low gas pressure area (13) within the fume capture hood, enabling cooking fumes to rise evenly into the fume capture hood and preventing cooking fumes from escaping; the bottom portion of the fume capture hood is provided with an air inlet (5), which allows a reverse air curtain to be formed under the evacuation force of the blower (2), thereby preventing cooking fumes from spreading outward; the flow-guidance air channel (3), the siphoning holes (7), the flow-guidance baffles (4), and the flow-guidance cone (9) work in unison to streamline fumes into a laminar flow gas before said fumes reach the blower (2). This prevents the blower (2) from having to operate under turbulent flow conditions, and thereby greatly increases the ventilation efficiency of the blower (2).
