Abstract:
A rangefinder provided with at least one measurement unit, the measurement unit being provided with: a voltage level converter for applying a desired bias to a voltage obtained on the basis of the output from a light -receiving part, to thereby offset the level of the voltage; an amplifier for amplifying the voltage outputted from the voltage level converter; and a measurement part for measuring the timing at which the output from the amplifier reaches a prescribed threshold value.
