Abstract:
A ranging device (2000) generates a ranging signal, and generates transmission light by orthogonally modulating an optical carrier wave on the basis of the generated ranging signal. The ranging device (2000) outputs the transmission light, and receives reflected light of the transmission light, said reflected light having been reflected by a subject (10) to be measured. The ranging device (2000) calculates the distance from the ranging device (2000) to the subject (10) by comparing the received reflected light with reference light.
