Abstract:
[Problem] To provide a ranging device that can perform signal processing for, for example, distance measurement at high speed with low power consumption. [Solution] A ranging device comprising: a first semiconductor element having a first light receiving unit that receives light and that performs photoelectric conversion to generate an electrical signal; a second semiconductor element having a distance calculation unit that calculates information about the distance to an object on the basis of the electrical signal; and a third semiconductor element having a signal processing unit that performs predetermined information processing on the basis of an output signal from the distance calculation unit.
