Abstract:
A Rankine cycle device (20) is provided with a pump (23), an evaporator (24), an expander (21), and a condenser (22). The evaporator (24) has a plurality of heat transfer pipes (28) aligned in a plurality of stages in a flow direction of a high-temperature fluid to perform heat exchange with a working fluid. A heat transfer pipe (28) positioned in the stage the farthest upstream in the flow direction of the high-temperature fluid among the plurality of heat transfer pipes (28) is defined as the farthest upstream heat transfer pipe (28k). For example, the farthest upstream heat transfer pipe (28k) forms an inlet for the evaporator (24) so that the working fluid flowing into the evaporator (24) flows through the farthest upstream heat transfer pipe (28k) first.
