Abstract:
In the present invention an engine (10) has an exhaust pipe (30) through which exhaust gas flows. The exhaust pipe (30) has a main channel (30a) that passes through a boiler (113), a by-pass channel (30b) that by-passes the boiler (113), and a flow rate control valve (31) that is provided in the by-pass channel (30b) and that controls the flow rate of an exhaust gas flowing through the by-pass channel (30b). An ECU (119) detects the charge level of a battery (118), controls the degree of opening of the flow control valve (31) on the basis of an embedded map, and controls the flow rate of exhaust gas flowing in the main channel (30a).
