Abstract:
This Rankine cycle system is equipped with a cooling-fluid-temperature detector for detecting the temperature of cooling fluid, and a startup-permission determination unit for determining whether or not to permit startup of the Rankine cycle system on the basis of the temperature of the cooling fluid. The startup-permission determination unit is configured so as to: permit the startup of the Rankine cycle system when the cooling-fluid temperature reaches a startup-permission temperature, and set the startup-permission temperature when starting the engine in a cold state to a higher temperature than the startup-permission temperature when restarting the engine after completing a warm-up; or permit the startup of the Rankine cycle system after a prescribed amount of time has elapsed from when the cooling-fluid temperature reaches a set temperature, and set the prescribed amount of time when starting the engine in a cold state to a longer amount of time than the prescribed amount of time when restarting the engine after completing a warm-up.
