Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to cause snow-like shaved ice falling into a shaved ice receiving container (cup-shaped container) that is in widespread use to be piled evenly. This rapid cooling shaved ice manufacturing device comprises: a housing that has left and right projecting supports; an ice layer forming rotary drum that is provided in a horizontal state via left and right bearing members in an attachment space between the projecting supports and that rotates by way of the driving force of a drive motor; an open-top water storage tray that is disposed in a horizontal state under the ice layer forming rotary drum and that temporarily receives "water for shaved ice" through a water introduction channel from a water supply unit provided in the housing; a shaving blade that is provided in a horizontal state on the left and right projecting supports so as to almost contact the front of the ice layer forming rotary drum and that shaves an ice film layer formed on the outer circumferential face of the ice layer forming rotary drum; and a guiding member that is fixedly provided on the left and right projecting supports so as to be able to guide the "snow-like shaved ice" shaved by the shaving blade in a designated direction. In addition, the device is provided with, in front of the lower side of the housing, a first turntable that rotates by way of the driving force of a rotary mechanism. The first turntable is rotatably provided on a base in an orientation such that the vertical axis line y passing through the center thereof is orthogonal to the horizontal axis line x passing through the center of the ice forming rotary drum and projected further to the front than the shaving blade.
