Title:
RAPID-GROWTH CULTURING DEVICE FOR DIATOMS, RAPID-GROWTH CULTURING METHOD THEREOF, AND METHOD FOR EXTRACTING OIL FROM DIATOMS
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2015/162803
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
In the present invention, an expansive culturing area is not required, it is possible at a low cost to cause growth in a short period of time in a mass-production-capable manner, the present invention is price competitive, and oil present in the cells of grown diatoms is extracted at a low cost at room temperature without requiring squeezing. The rapid-growth culturing device, which is for diatoms and is for rapid-growth culturing of diatoms, has: an electrolytic water generation device that generates alkaline water by means of electrolysis of well water or tap water using potassium chloride as an electrolyte; a culturing tank to which the generated alkaline water is supplied; and a fermenting carbon-dioxide-generating device that supplies carbon dioxide generated by means of fermentation to the culturing tank. The culturing liquid comprising well water or tap water in the culturing tank is diluted by the alkaline water to result in a culturing starting water. The culturing tank comprises: a heater that heats the culturing starting water; an agitator for causing the supply of oxygen to the culturing starting water and the temperature of the heating to be a uniform environment; and a discharge member that is immersed in the culturing starting water and imposes an electrical potential on the culturing starting water.
