Abstract:
The present invention relates to a rapid refrigeration device (1 ) which, when placed inside the refrigerated compartment of a refrigerator, refrigerates an item (A) at higher speeds than those obtained by placing the item directly in the refrigerated compartment. The device (1) comprises a housing (2) for receiving at least one item to be refrigerated (A), an air inlet for admitting a cold air current into the device (1 ), a cold air passage located next to or inside the housing (2); and an air outlet to discharge air from the device (1). In a preferred embodiment, the air passage is provided with fins (3) integrally formed in the housing (2) for intensifying heat exchange between the items (A) and the cold air current through the air passage.
