Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a rapid sterility test method that reduces inhibition of a nucleic acid amplification reaction of a target nucleic acid by a human nucleic acid. This rapid sterility test method, which is for detecting the presence of a bacterial nucleic acid contained in a test sample containing a human nucleic acid by a nucleic acid amplification method, is characterized in that an oligo-set, which consists of (1) one or more probes selected from probe group PM1, probe group PM2 and probe group PM3 and (2) one or more reverse primers selected from primer group RM, is used in the nucleic acid amplification method.
