Provided is a rapid switch arc suppression system, wherein same is applicable to high-resistance ground faults. The system comprises: a rapid switch arc suppression apparatus mounted on a substation bus, wherein the rapid switch arc suppression apparatus is connected to a synchronous measurement terminal by means of a phase selection and positioning apparatus mounted in a main control room of a substation, and same can thus collect, after a fault occurs, fault data by means of the synchronous measurement terminal and upload same to the phase selection and positioning apparatus to carry out phase selection, line selection and positioning analysis, and the phase selection and positioning apparatus outputs a result to the rapid switch arc suppression apparatus to make same take action.
