Abstract:
This rare earth element separation method comprises a step for bringing an organic solvent into contact with a material liquid containing multiple types of rare earth elements to an aqueous solution, thereby extracting the multiple types of rare earth elements in the organic solvent to prepare a starting liquid, and a step for separating at least one type of the rare earth elements by applying a solvent extraction method to the starting liquid, and separates the multiple types of rare earth elements.
