Abstract:
The present application provides a rate matching method for an LDPC code, and a communication device. A transmission end, when performing a retransmission, retransmits information bits of an LDPC codeword according to a repeat priority order of the information bits in a rate matching process, so as to improve performance gain at a receiving end. Since the repeat priority order of the information bits is determined according to the sensitivity of the LDPC codeword, in said repeat priority order, the higher the sensitivity of an information bit, the lower the repeat priority thereof, and the lower the sensitivity of an information bit, the higher the repeat priority thereof. Accordingly, when the transmission end retransmits the information bits of the LDPC codeword, information bits having lower sensitivity are retransmitted with priority, thereby improving the decoding performance of the receiving end.
