Abstract:
The present invention relates to a raw material for a cyclometallized iridium complex, and provides a technique by which it is possible to obtain a cyclometallized iridium complex at a high yield at a lower reaction temperature than in a case where tris(2,4-pentanedionato) iridium (III) is used. The present invention relates to a raw material for a cyclometallized iridium complex, the raw material consisting of an organic iridium material used to produce a cyclometallized iridium complex, wherein the organic iridium material is a tris(β-diketonate) iridium (III) complex in which asymmetric β-diketone ligands are coordinated to iridium.
