Abstract:
This invention provides a raw material storage-type bottle cap, which can prevent wetting and solidifying of the raw material stored in a storage barrel. At the time of opening, the raw material can be smoothly dropped into a liquid contained in a bottle while avoiding the deposition and stay of the raw material within the storage barrel. The raw material storage-type bottle cap comprises an upper cap having a raw material storage barrel and an openable lid for sealing the lower end of the barrel, and a lower cap having a guide barrel into which the raw material storage barrel can be inserted. The openable lid comprises an outer peripheral wall and a fitting groove, and the raw material storage barrel is sealed by fitting the lower end part of the raw material storage barrel into the fitting groove. At the time of opening, the lower end of the guide barrel presses the upper end of the outer peripheral wall to eliminate the openable lid and thus to drop the raw material into the liquid contained in the bottle. An annular groove is provided on the outer peripheral face of the lower end part of the storage barrel. The airtightness is held by a bottom packing provided at the bottom of the fitting groove in the openable lid, an inner wall packing provided on the inner peripheral face of the outer peripheral wall in the openable lid and having a bulging part fitted into the annular groove, and a side wall packing provided on the upper end of the outer peripheral wall in the openable lid. The ceiling face of the storage barrel is in a dome form.
