The present invention relates to a razor cartridge with enhanced skin contact and vibrational effects, and a razor utilizing same. To this end, there is provided a razor cartridge comprising a housing, blades installed in the housing and a guard installed adjacent to the blade, wherein the guard includes a base supported onto the housing and an elastic projection portion protruded from the base, and wherein the elastic projection portion includes a first projection having a convex-shaped opening and a hollow space inside and a second projection connected to the opening and formed in a protruding shape to allow air from the hollow space to escape therethrough.  Therefore, according to the present invention, when the razor comes in contact with the skin, it applies a pumping motion effective for aligning beard or mustache hairs, promotes the secretion of sebum in the skin pores and helps a user experience a smooth motion during its use.
