Abstract:
The present invention relates to a re-combustion apparatus of an industrial petroleum coke boiler, and more specifically to an industrial petroleum coke boiler utilizing a re-combustion system which reduces nitrogen oxide (NOx), which forms in a system utilizing petroleum coke fuel, the industrial petroleum coke boiler comprising a combustion furnace provided with a combustor, and a boiler connected to the combustion furnace, and minimizing NOx formation inside the industrial petroleum coke boiler by additionally comprising: a fuel nozzle between the combustor and boiler in the combustion furnace; an air supply unit in the boiler; and a fuel supply unit connected to the nozzle, and thus the use of costly post-processing equipment such as a selective catalytic reduction apparatus is avoided, thereby having the benefit of minimizing the nitrogen oxide formation while also lowering the initial investment and maintenance costs.
