Abstract:
Provided are a reaction-based paint remover, use thereof, and method for removing paint from a workpiece. The paint remover comprises the following components in parts by weight: 80-160 parts of hydrofluoric acid, 10-30 parts of acetone, 5-20 parts of ehtyl acetate, 5-15 parts of phenol, and 100-200 parts of water. The paint remover has low causticity towards a substrate, is safe and environmentally friendly, and can be used to remove paint layers or plastic layers from surfaces of various metal workpieces.
