Abstract:
This reaction force imparting device (10) comprises an actuator (20), a power transmission unit (30), and a lever (40). The actuator (20) generates drive force by being energized. The power transmission unit (30) has: a reduction gear (32) which reduces the speed of the drive force from the actuator (20); and a shaft member (36) connected to the reduction gear (32). The lever (40) has one end connected to the shaft member (36), is rotated by the drive force from the actuator (20) of which the speed is reduced by the reduction gear (32), and is capable of imparting a reaction force with respect to the pedaling force of a driver against a pedal (70). The reduction gear (32) and the lever (40) are caulked and fastened to each other at both ends of the shaft member (36).
