Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is, in a reaction method in which a liquid that includes a reaction target is reacted by contact with a granular porous body, to reveal the relationship between contact time and optimal granule sizes, etc. and provide efficient reaction conditions. An upper limit value D (mm) for the granule size of the granular porous body is found from D = 0.556 × LN(T) + 0.166 in a noncyclic column flow method and from D = 0.0315 × T + 0.470 in a cyclic column flow method and shaking method. Contact time T (seconds) is given by a value obtained by dividing the volume (m3) of the granular porous body by the flow speed (m3/sec.) of the liquid in the noncyclic column flow method, given by a value obtained by multiplying the fluid flow time (sec.) by the volume ratio in which the volume of the granular porous body is divided by the volume of the liquid in the cyclic column flow method, and given by a value obtained by multiplying elapsed time (sec.) from addition of the granular porous body into the liquid by the volume ratio in the shaking method.
