Abstract:
Provided are a coil component capable of contributing to improving the productivity of a reactor, and a reactor exhibiting excellent productivity. A reactor (1A) is provided with one coil (2) formed by spirally winding a winding wire (2w) and a magnetic core (3) which is disposed inside and outside the coil (2) and which forms a closed magnetic circuit. The magnetic core (3) is provided with an inner core section (31) disposed inside the coil (2) and an outer core section (32) disposed on the outer circumference of the coil (2). The coil (2) and the inner core section (31) form a coil member (2A) integrally held by means of a resin mold (20). The shape of the coil (2) is maintained by means of the resin mold (20). It is possible to reduce the number of components and to easily store the coil (2) and the inner core (31) when being stored in a case (4A) because the coil component (2A) comprises a portion of the magnetic core (3). Moreover, it is easy to handle the coil (2) because the shape thereof is constantly maintained without expanding or contracting. The assembly of the reactor (1A) is facilitated by being equipped with the aforementioned coil component (2A).
