Provided is a reactor with superior productivity by providing a magnetic core that includes resin core pieces in which defects do not arise easily. This reactor is provided with a coil (2) formed by winding a winding and a magnetic core (3) passing through the inside of that coil (2). The magnetic core (3) is constituted of a combination of a plurality of divided core pieces (31, 31, 32, 32). At least one (divided core pieces 31, 31) of the plurality of divided core pieces (31, 31, 32, 32) includes soft magnetic powder and a resin and is resin core piece formed from a molded and hardened body in which the soft magnetic powder content is 75% by volume or less. The peripheral edge of at least one surface of that resin core piece (31, 31) is chamfered around the entire periphery. A core facing surface (310) of the resin core piece (31) that faces another divided core piece (32) and a coil facing surface (319) that faces the coil (2) can be used for one surface of the magnetic core (31) that is chamfered.
