Abstract:
A reactor equipped with a coil having a first winding section and also equipped with a magnetic core which is provided with a middle core section, a first end core section, a second end core section, a first side core section and a second side core section, said reactor being further equipped with a resin mold section for integrating the coil and the magnetic core with one another. The magnetic core is equipped with a first split core which contains the first end core section and a second split core which contains at least part of the middle core section. The first split core is equipped with a first end surface oriented toward the inside space of the first winding section, and a through-hole which passes therethrough from the outer surface of the first end core section to the first end surface. The second split core is equipped with a second end surface which faces the first end surface with a gap interposed therebetween. Part of the resin mold section is positioned in the through-hole and in the gap.
